Headquartered in Cambridge, Highland was keen to acknowledge their Massachusetts roots while connecting with the California aesthetic. As a space for ever-changing user groups from around the world—entrepreneurs and incubator teams—the space had to be flexible and functional but meet Highland’s desire for sophistication.
Interconnection between support spaces encourages efficiency for staff and entrepreneurs and opportunities for social interactions and the cross-pollination of ideas. To keep the space energetic and bright, every opportunity to allow natural light to enter the space was found.
