Pakka Lau

Pakka holds a BFA in Interior Design from San Jose State University and studied animation and illustration before focusing on interior design.  He began his career freelancing, helping to conceptualize and develop several projects in the retail market. He is deeply interested in working with design involving form and space.

Pakka is very accomplished in 3D modeling and rendering, having worked on projects as complex as a multipurpose plaza BIM model from the ground up.

He recalls a professor saying “Other professions might require one to know everything about something, but as a designer we are to know something about everything!”  That insight inspires him to research constantly, blending technology and design as today’s world demands.

Pakka also enjoys spending time with his family, hanging out with friends to play basketball, snooker and pool, watching movies, playing video games, singing, hiking and travel.
