To change a typical office building use to a training and conference center, with only a small component of office space. The new type of occupancy group imposed a much greater exiting requirement, additional exit doors and pathways to parking needing to be developed. The space is used by transient groups being incubated and needed to be a flexible and multi-functional space. Operating as a standalone business unit required atypical support requirements as well.

The existing two story building was renovated, gutting everything including all building systems. The stairs were the only significant elements to remain. Occupant loads were carefully considered to maximize the use of the space. The design supports the multiple uses and frequent turnover based on conferencing and training events held in the facility. Common areas were designed anticipating not only the mixed use of the facility, but having multiple functions occurring concurrently.
