To redesign an existing high tech office that had become outdated and no longer reflected the company culture. The previous design, heavy on perimeter offices, blocked most of the natural light. The floor plate is large and hosts a significant number of employees, but it lacked a central gathering space, which is essential to the culture at this company.

All offices were relocated to the center of the space allowing for more equitable access to light from the perimeter windows. A central microkitchen was created with space for food, games, casual meetings and direct access to an outdoor patio. Select portions of the ceiling were opened up to create visual interest in the ceiling plane; and elements of wood and brick were introduced to create a warm and sophisticated atmosphere.
