Lydia is an Associate of AP+I who has over a decade of experience in Interior Design as well as holds a BA in Biology. In her previous life, she managed several non-profit outdoor environmental science centers where she taught children and their families about the planet and its inhabitants as well as maintained the facilities. Her experience has sensitized her to how people interact and function within their environments and our need to preserve resources. As a result, Lydia’s perspective on design includes areas such as sustainable design, needs of the aging workforce, maneuverability and usability. She supports the AP+I team with space planning, design and finish selection, CD production and standards, field verification and compliance with accessibility. In her spare time, she likes to read, maintain her garden, cook with unusual ingredients and has served on her HOA board advising and implementing major improvement projects.
Joined AP+I in 2005.
