Kristoffer Tendall
LEED AP BD+C
DIRECTOR OF DESIGN
Kristoffer has focused on crafting space for human experience over his 20+ year career encompassing high-end residential, civic, higher-education and for the last decade focused primarily on workplace design projects. As Director of Design, he will ensure all AP+I projects meet the highest possible design standards, encouraging design teams to partner closely with clients, understand client goals, and think creatively in order to craft graceful and impactful design solutions. Kristoffer believes strongly that the deep “why” of a project is vital to understand before putting pen to paper and creating the “what” of a space. This leads to design solutions that will exceed clients’ initial ideas of what their built environment could be and that reflect their specific culture and values. A LEED Accredited Professional since 2005, Kristoffer brings a passion for sustainable design and regenerative spaces that allow inhabitants to thrive, taking cues and inspiration from the natural environment.
A native Californian, Kristoffer moved down from the Sierra Nevada mountains to the Bay Area to get his degree in Architecture from UC Berkeley, and when not in the office, can usually be found creating in his sculpture studio, taking a run along the coast or exploring nature with his wife and canine companion.
