THE SOLUTION
By creating a totally open floor plan, Rearden's new home is a work environment focused on employee interaction and company agility. To promote the "controlled chaos" aspect of the culture and to stimulate interaction, a large break room/all hands area is at the core of the space. To support collaborative work and manage the occasional privacy needs of the staff, teaming rooms and designated phone rooms are strategically placed within the space. Liberal use of white board walls, inside and outside of the teaming rooms, provide additional collaboration tools. Introducing Rearden's bold red brand color throughout the space, creates a dynamic environment full of energy, while reinforcing the company's brand.
