THE CHALLENGE
To create an atmosphere that would encourage collaboration within the organization while providing a quiet space where work could be efficiently accomplished. PPMSI wanted to change the paradigm for their employees by providing an integrated open office/private office configuration with a dedicated executive lounge and break area

THE SOLUTION
The furniture is the focal point of the solution. We created low-profile open work areas that would encourage communication, while integrating high-profile office "pods", made from the furniture system, for privacy. We used vibrant colors in paint, fabrics and flooring to reinforce the move to a new way of working together. An exposed ductwork ceiling created volume in the space with ceiling-hung "sail shapes" in various colors throughout the open environment to identify work groups.
