THE
CHALLENGE
To create a new executive office
floor in the headquarters' Community Building, while integrating
eBay's new corporate design philosophy of extra values,
brand identity and culture more deeply, and consciously,
into their built environment. |

THE
SOLUTION
An executive office area
on the 2nd floor of the Community Building was
designed to be key in centralizing the organizational
heart of the company. The executive area reflects
the fundamental principles of eBay - a very egalitarian
company with the executives being visible and
accessible to eBay employees. The branding concept
was implemented through the use of company colors
and graphic images and forms, such as the iconography
that are integral to the eBay website.
