THE SOLUTION
The design evolved into a fluid yet organized space with public and private areas that flow easily from one to the next without a sense of separation. Materials are rich, warm and elegant, yet understated, with a hint of Zen. Dark walnut woods paired with brushed aluminum and glass interplaying with color provide drama and contrast. Horizontal, vertical and grid elements imbue the space with a comfortable, timeless quality. With the amount of enclosed space, ensuring the penetration of natural light throughout the space was of prime importance, especially with respect to energy efficiency and workplace quality.
